熟万达广场外立面表皮设计源于 “古琴”的琴弦和筝码所排列而形成的肌理。 “筝码”撑起的“琴弦”使得其在柔的同时，又富有刚性的骨架结构，整体逻辑浑然天成。将此运用在建筑立面表皮中，使得整体结构与逻辑相辅相成。建筑表面运用流动、富有变化的曲线，使原本呆板规则的图案活泼、生动，从而激活整个商业建筑氛围。为保证完整的形体关系，把握大骨架上的结构逻辑.

计算出所有的控制点和控制面的准确定位，然后通过合理的结构和构造逻辑，保证最终“江南抚琴”形体的实现。而节点和曲线主龙骨采用可调节角度和长度的小套管与主龙骨的曲线管件相连接。可转动与可伸缩的套管可现场根据情况调节出距离墙面的距离。 因此，同样的一组节点构件的设计，便可解决节点和曲线主龙骨呈不同角度连接带来的施工麻烦和精度控制。减少施工和预件加工的难度。既可以保证施工的精度，又有效地控制了项目成本。
