Archictural design  of Dubai China Pavilion

通过适应阿拉伯联合酋长国的气候，中国馆可以使参观者在展览区域保持清爽。在该方案中，雾霭是一个原生的元素。通过转化太阳能来雾化海水形成雾气，中国馆为参观者创造了一个艺术的氛围和元素，使人们在观展过程中充满冒险与惊喜。行走在这片雾的时空，人们将有机会邂逅光之字，彩虹，绿洲，海市蜃楼以及云中之人等场景。

“丝绸之路”和“汉字”是中国馆的两个主要主题，展示了中国的连接思维对创造未来带来的机遇。历史上的丝绸之路是沿途各个国家互相连接彼此通往世界的重要桥梁，其中充满了关于商贸和文化的历史，同时也蕴含着历史人物们丰富的生活轶事。如今，中国立志重振丝绸之路的辉煌，连通更多的国家和地区，在了解世界的同时，也让世界更加了解中国。展馆将把丝绸之路转化为4D的方式展示 - 有时参观者会遇到僧侣，有时则是行走在路上的骆驼队伍，士兵或商人的雕像，最后在放映厅中，全新的未来丝绸之路将会展现在人们面前。

by adapting to the weather of uae, china pavilion performs as a building that visitor can feel an fresh and cool atmosphere  in exhibition space. the brume is an primordial element in this project. by converting the energy from solar power to atomize sea-water to a fog state, the china pavillion creates an artistic performance to the body as well as an artistic element in which visitors are able to discover the exhibition with full of surprise. walking in foggy space, people have opportunities to encounter “lightword”, rainbow, oasis, mirage and the scene of people on the clouds ect. 

silkroads and chinese language are major themes for this pavilion,  which explain how china connecting mind gives opportunities to create the future. in history, silkroads is the important bridge by which the countries connect with each other and leading to the world. there are a lot of stories in trade and culture and ancdotes from historical figures. nowadays, china aspires to revive the silkroad to connect more contries and areas to the world and while let the world know more about china, china will know more about outside world. pavilion transfrom exhibition space as a silkroad in 4dimensions where visitors will discover silkroad story inspace – at some moment visitors will meet a group of monks, carmels walking on road, statues of soldier and business man, and the future silkroad will expose in cinema room.

Characters are the two main themes of the Chinese Pavilion, which show the opportunities that Chinese connecting thinking 

brings to the creation of the future.
